The AllTest TSH Rapid Test Cassette (Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) (REF: OTS-402 and OTS-402H) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) in human whole blood, serum or plasma. Multiple versions intended for professional and self-testing in vitro diagnostic use, the test is designed to aid in screening the adult population for primary hypothyroidism. Results are available in approximately 10 minutes, providing a rapid screening tool for use in clinical laboratories and point-of-care settings.

Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) is produced by the anterior pituitary gland and regulates thyroid hormone production. Laboratory measurement of TSH is widely recognised as the preferred initial test for assessing thyroid function in patients with suspected hypothyroidism. This rapid test provides qualitative detection of elevated TSH levels and should be used alongside clinical assessment and other diagnostic findings. Positive screening results should be confirmed using a quantitative laboratory TSH assay. The test is not intended for neonatal screening.
