The ALLTEST DSD-8 series is a preliminary, non-evidential screening kit intended for use as the initial step in workplace health and safety testing procedures. It is designed to indicate the possible presence of drugs, helping to determine which results require confirmation through secondary laboratory analysis (Step 2).

All non-negative results obtained from ALLTEST drug test kits should be regarded as presumptive and non-evidential. Prior to any disciplinary or financial action being taken, results must be confirmed by an accredited and authorised laboratory confirmation service from UKDrugTesting.

Available in a broad selection of 6-panel to 12-panel saliva drug test configurations, including combined drug and alcohol formats, the range allows users to tailor testing to specific operational requirements. The DSD-877 remains the most widely used configuration for integrated workplace drug and alcohol screening in the UK, due to its balanced detection profile and operational convenience.

Specifications

The DSD-8 series of ALLTEST saliva barrels are supplied in boxes containing 20 individually foil-wrapped test kits. Each box includes a full Instructions for Use (IFU), an alcohol colour chart, and a cardboard quick-reference instruction sheet.

From 2026 onwards, each individual test kit will also include printed instructions on the foil packaging and an alcohol colour reference sticker.
